About
A project defined by freedom and plurality. A carefree way of living the everyday.
LESNOIS reinterprets Spanish heritage through a contemporary lens. Its products are defined neither by gender nor by a single idea of style, but leave room for different identities and sensibilities, carrying with them a nostalgia for the early 2000s.
The value of the gesture.
For its first drop, LESNOIS starts with espadrilles. Each pair is handmade in Spain by local artisans. Small differences set one pair apart from another: unique, unrepeatable details, rich with humanity.
The styles are produced in small runs and remain part of the collection, reducing waste linked to seasonal cycles.
Clara Simal Serrano
Founder and Creative Director
Raised in the Valencian Community, Clara trained in music and visual arts. Her years in Italy, across design and manufacturing, together with her work as a footwear designer for Valentino and Tod’s, have refined her eye for form, materials and gesture.
Motherhood opens up a new perspective and deepens her desire to create something of her own. It is then that fragments of a larger story begin to surface: the countryside and the oranges she would buy with her father from a farmer who always wore espadrilles; the Benidorm of her adolescence, its clubs and the echo of the excesses of the Ruta del Bakalao; the folk rituals of Las Fallas. Worlds distant only in appearance coexist in her creative imagination.
“This is where LESNOIS begins: in the desire to return to my roots and transform them through everything I have encountered along the way. I want to celebrate every person, their uniqueness and the freedom to express themselves beyond convention. So: olé tú”
